Who we are
We are an inspection laboratory that has been in business for over two decades. We help clients from many industries, which include:
- Life Sciences
- Medical
- Aerospace
- Automotive
We also serve engineering consultants and industrial designers.
Our clients trust us to find data that is accurate, repeatable, and on schedule.
Beginnings
Romeo Arcinas Jr. co-founded Advanced Measurement Labs with Bipin Mukherji in 1992 after having worked for one of the major inspection houses operating during the aerospace heyday of the 70s and 80s.
Romeo applied that experience and knowledge, with his brand of process improvement, to a fledgling AML, leading to growth for the company and its clients, as well as our present location in Tustin, CA.
We train all of our inspectors to interpret blueprints written in the Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing standard (otherwise known as GD&T and the ASME Y14.5), including feature control frames.
Innovation is our business—as is getting it right the first time. We test any new techniques we develop against our own standards for integrity and reliability. Clients can be sure that we have a solid rationale for our measurement findings.
We also know the nuances of our inspection equipment. So, we can measure any feature, even ones which are difficult to access and measure, like undercuts and deep bores.
Our goal is to help you reach the marketplace and be ahead of the competition by giving you the advantage in cost, quality, and time.

MEET CRITICAL DEADLINES
AML is set up to deliver quality inspection reports at shorter deadlines, while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy.
QUALITY INSPECTION REPORTS
We format our reports to be concise and compliant to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Our metrology tools provide us with accurate measurement data and are calibrated to NIST standards.
MOVE YOUR PROJECTS FORWARD
We call upon our advanced dimensional metrology equipment and techniques to achieve this goal. This allows our customers to ease their backlog.
